Cuba's International Solidarity, Past & Present: Palestine and Beyond

October 18-27, 2024

About the Delegation

Join us to meet Cuban revolutionary leaders, and learn about their decades-long work of  resisting imperialism and acting in solidarity with other freedom movements. As cries for justice in Palestine continue continue resonating throughout the world we will learn how the government of Cuba has historically been an outspoken advocate for Palestine and their struggle for liberation from Zionist and US imperialist oppression. Because the liberation of one is tied to the liberation of all, Cuba has a deep and strong history of siding with oppressed peoples throughout the globe.   Learn how anti-imperialist movements are connected across international borders. Build with other organizers and community leaders in discussing current, past and future, movement strategies which resist oppression and create futures where we care for each other. Join us in anti-imperialist dreaming and future mapping of just worlds together.

In doing so, delegates will:

1) will gain a better understanding of U.S. and Cuban foreign policy and solidarity movements,
2) develop and strengthen their advocacy skills and social justice frameworks and
3) build a community grounded in transnational solidarity, collective liberation, and

political friendship.
